Body & Interior

The power window on just the drivers side is not working. Could you give me ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks!

There is no noise when you try to put the window down.

Need more information - what is meant by 'not working'? Does this mean the window will not raise or lower when the switch is pressed?
Several possibilities; faulty window switch, faulty window motor, faulty / binding window regulator assembly, faulty motor wiring or connection.

First step - remove the interior door panel for a closer inspection. Check the window control switch - by swapping / exchanging with one from the opposite door. If the problem moves - replace the switch. If not, then check the motor with 12 Volts applied using a jumper wire - to see if the motor makes noise and to see / observe if the window slide is bound in the track.
If not, probably need to replace the motor, or window and motor regulator as an assembly.

Try these on-line vendors: www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.partsgeek.com, www.rockauto.com, www.partstrain.com, www.discountautoparts - to list a few.

They (RockAuto) list the replacement power window motor from around $46.00, and the window regulator assembly from around $51.00 for your vehicle.

Power window motor (front left) = DORMAN part #742848 {#72255S30A02, 72255SR3A02, 72715SW3505} - or it's equivalent

Power window regulator assembly (with motor) = TYC part #660112 or DORMAN part #741950 - or their equivalent

I have replaced the regulator and the switch cluster. I have confirmed there is no power into the regulator for up or down. All other power windows operating properly.

Steve, need more information please and it's recommended for you to post a separate question with these details; year, make, model, mileage, conditions and description of the issue. Please apply the protocols for the AutoMD website: do not piggyback on a question posted from 2015(?).
