What could cause popping sound when turning right?

When turning right, I hear a popping sound in the right front area. Struts? ???
My van was wrecked in Jan. and hit on the right wheel area a fire hydrant. It was repaired about $3000 worth of work and every since makes popping sound when turning right.

It is possible for alot of things to be causing that sound and depending on what was done thru repairs , the key things I would check first would be the bearing plate for the strut and then the ball joints .
