What part of my car do I need to get fixed if it won't start?

My car randomly died and I've had to jump start it twice now, I thought it was fine since it was fine for a little bit after it was jumped but it happened again. It doesn't make that clicking sound when it's dead and I turn the key, so I don't know if it's the battery. I was told it could be the alternator, but what do you think it is? I want to get multiple opinions before taking it to the shop or buying any parts. THANK YOU!

felplay auto repair.

first take the battery to any auto parts and have it test, it's free, after that if your car start and do the same than you may need the alternator, but here little tip may help you,, start you car and turn on the headlight and all accessories if the light goes dim or the car stall you need the alternator.
