Park light wont read "P" I have a 2013 Ford Taurus. I recently replaced the fuel pump after months of sitting. Once I got it running I drove it and went to park the car, and while the transmission itself will go in park, the dash light will not indicate that the vehicle is in park. The dash will show the every other gear, reverse, neutral, drive, and the manual option just not park. This also dose not allow my key to be released from the ignition and some of my dash lights to stay on running my battery dead. I've done some research but nothing I find really matches up exactly to my problem. |

Jimm 1/5/2020 There are several possibilities; transmission gear selector out-of-adjustment, faulty range selector on the transmission, faulty Park light bulb - to list only a few.
