Jus had front seal and oil pump repairs to stop engine from leaking oil. It doesn't appear to be leaking any more....

Need more information. Was the light flickering before the repairs were done? Did you replace the oil pump? How many miles are on the vehicle? A worn engine with a lot of miles on it can have lower oil pressure.

I have over 200,000 miles on it. The oil light was not on wen I took the car in. Oil pump was replaced. The car is also now making a loud noise when u press on the accelerator and chugging. Barely starts - the starter was replaced prior to the oil leak repairs and kept going out because it would fill up with oil. An employees at the parts store said my car sounded like it was a lower engine issue - pistons and rods. Not doing any of this before but was leaking a lot of oil. What should I do?

Replace the motor or get newer vehicle
They stopped making new Xterra's in 2015 but
I could recommend the Frontier I have a 2014
The Nissan Suv's are not on a frame, as yours & mine
& are expensive
Think unless you have an attachment to the vehicle,it is too
old to invest $4,000 in a motor
At 200,000 I would not have even had any work done on it
