2012 Honda Accord LX 4 Cyl 2.4L

Engine

Very low mileage per gallon and start the car with difficulty.

My brand new 2012 4 cylinder Honda Accord (purchased September last year, had 2200 mileage on it now) is only getting 19 miles per gallon, for combined city and highway driving. At the beginning, I though it was because of it was brand new. After 2000 miles, it is still not improved. Another problem is it takes longer time to start (even longer than my 2000 Honda Accord). Could those two problems related? I tried other people’s new Honda accord, never see that happening.

The vehicle will need a full function professional shop grade scan tool capable of reading grams per second and calculated loads in order to detect any bad or margins sensors.

See this link for the sensors.

Call Honda Dealer to schedule a warranty repair. The vehicle is still under the 3 years and 36,000 miles warranty.
