Left Front Tire Outside Tire Wear

I just noticed that my left front tire has excessive wear on the outside. The other 3 tires are wearing evenly. I'm wondering if it's just an alignment issue for the one front side or possibly the strut is bad.
Any and all advice will be appreciated.

When an inner or outer rib wears faster than than the rest of the tire, the need for wheel alignment is indicated. There is excessive camber in the front suspension, causing the wheel to lean too much to the inside or outside and putting too much load on one side of the tire. The car may simply need the wheels aligned, but misalignment could be due to sagging springs, worn ball joints, or worn control arm bushings

I have noticed that there are signs of fluid coming from the top od the left front strut. If the strut is bad, and possibly "sagging" could that cause the excessive outside wear on the one tire (all other tires are wearing evenly).

if you have fluid coming out the top of the strut i would replace it to answer your question yes
