2000 Volkswagen Jetta GL 4 Cyl 2.0L - Transmissions & Drivetrains
Lag when changing gears. It jerks when it does. What could cause this problem.
When the vehicle is accelerated from a dead stop, it takes awhile for it to change gears. And when it does, it jerks like the vehicle was suddenly put to gear from neutral. What could cause this problem? Thanks in advance...

Do you have problems with your transmission jerking hard when you are accelerating? Usually that means your transmission is about to go. A reconditioned tranny ran me about $3000.00.
