My interior rear passenger door handle won't open.When I pulled the handle it froze open position.Hasn't snapped back.

I ordered a new door handle to replace the old interior rear handle, however, will I need extra parts or just a new handle?I'm hoping all I'll need to repair it is the new handle pack I just ordered.
