Ignition Coil packs prices cheap versuses non cheap.

My 2006 mercury Milan needs ignition coil packs.I found a 6 pack on eBay for $45 ..do you think they will last and should I be worried about performance issues considering price. Im on a low income budget and $45 is a cheap still compared to $100-300.

It is not like generic drugs which are cheaper. They by law have to make the drugs the same. Car parts can be made as junkily as anyone wants too. Your choice. Seems you already have junk ones eh?

In fact, they (RockAuto) list the replacement ignition coils (coil-on-plug) from around $20.00 each for your vehicle.

Purchase a well-known, reputable name brand for the ignition coils; Airtex, Denso, Delphi, NGK, Motorcraft, etc.
