1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 6 Cyl 3.8L

Steering & Suspension

How can I get it to stop making that noise?

I own a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 3.8L 2 Door. Whenever I turn right, I hear a random clanking/clicking sound coming from my right front tire. I have already replaced the CV shaft, but it was salvage, so there's a chance it was damaged too.
It may have something to do with my car bottoming out on one of my lovely city streets about 1 1/2 years ago. I had to replace the ABS assembly, because it ripped it out. I still have issues with the ABS and Traction Control.
Any DIY tips are welcome.

sounds like it took a pretty hard hit on that one side, a clunk or any noise can be anything on that side, it could be a damaged ball joint, tie rod end, control arm or the cv axle. The only way of knowing is to really inspect everything, make sure nothing appears to be bent. Have you checked the stabilizer link, those can bend on a heavy impact,

Replace CVC entire axle for $76.00 and free shipping at autopartswarehouse.com Try not to deal with junk if you can help it, unless your labor isn't worth anything.
