Although i am more comfortable using a BMW reset tool, where's another way of doing it, but im assuming getting it reset with a reset tool though a bit more expensive is a walk in the park for you, since you were able to afford that kind of car.

There is a twenty pin OBD connector located under your hood by the engine bay, usually found near the driver side firewall area. Then you have to unscrew it and you should see the center plastic alignment pin, it looks like pac man. note where his mouth is facing, it looks like he is going to eat two pins, with your key in the on posistion, grab a peace of jumper wire and ground out the pin furthest away from the pac mans mouth. ground it out on a nut on the shock tower for about 10 seconds, then remove wire and inspect lights, they should be all green. if not, do it again slightly longer.

BMW inspection reset (service indicator) - the service indicator displays when the pre-set oil change interval (in mileage) is reached.

-Ignition OFF (pos 0)

-Press and Hold the trip odometer button while turning key to position 1 (accessory)

-Keep the button depressed (about 5 secs.); you observe "Oil Service" or "Inspection" with "Reset" or "Re" in the display

-*Note: ON vehicles with "High" cluster, you will also see the amount of fuel (in litres) remaining until next service

-Press the button again and hold for approx. 5 secs. until; :Reset" or "Re flashes

-While the display is flashing, briefly press the button again to reset the Service Interval. After the display has shown the new interval you should see "END SIA" for about 2 secs.

Note that if the "Reset" or "Re" does not flash, then you have not met the minimum consumption level and cannot reset.
