How do I program used air bag after repair from a small collision. Got an airbag from salvage yard but not connected yet

Impact sensor was installed from a vehicle with air bags not deployed. Is there a proceedure for checking with test light or volt ohmmeter? Ran OBll scan with no codes present. The air bag light comes on, but don't want it to deploy when I plug in the connection.

Plug in the air bag connection with the battery cables disconnected. While they are disconnected, touch the two terminal ends together for a minute to discharge any residual current stored in all modules. As far as programming, it is not required but it will require a code reader that can read and erase Chrysler air bag codes, which will then clear the light. I assume that you are aware that unless the code reader says it can read air bag codes, it will not read anything but engine codes.
