Preventive Maintenance

how do you determine which style fuel pump module you need TCU or TCF when ordering a replacement module.

108,000 miles. Fuel guage intermitent functioning especially when the tank is full regardless of temp. Have been told the fuel pumps can start going bad after about 100,000 mile and intermitent guage function could be symptomatic of the unit on its last leg. What is easiest way to get at the pump unit-pulling the bed or dropping the tank. If dropping the tank, how much slack is available for disconnecting the lines and wiring?
