2005 Nissan Altima S 4 Cyl 2.5L

Engine

I hear a noise that sounds like chirping birds when the vehicle is in drive or reverse and a/c is on.

I don't hear the noise when car is in park. When I put it in gear the chirping starts. It only happens when a/c is on and it only lasts a few minutes. Serpentine/drive belt has been inspected and is in good condition. What else could be making this chirping sound?

Would you happen to know if that is the only belt in a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5? Is there an air conditioner belt?

Jessica, it shows only one belt that drives all accessories. Like I said, remove belt, start engine, listen
for noise. Do not run car for more than a couple minutes with belt removed.
