1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Base 8 Cyl 5.90L

Engine

Where can I get a harness to make a diesel engine run in my car,?

My car is a 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 5.9L, with a V8 gas engine that I want to replace with a 1998 cummins turbo diesel engine 5.9L, 6 cyl, 24 valve engine. I need a harness to make this diesel engine work in my jeep Grand Wagoneer. Who or where can make the harness I need?

If you go to any super market or store that has auto magazines
& flip through them for the ads,you will see Painless Wiring & others
that have made wring harnesses for the last 30 or 40 years.

That is one of three or so long time well know companies you could call.

You will have to give exact specs or modify whatever they can come up will

If it were not for the connectors & tools required, you could design & make your own

Best you have a wiring diagram & understand basic electricty

Do not expect to get a plug & play harness & not know anything about your new
motor & the systems & what they require.
