1986 Nissan 720 Base 4 Cyl 2.4L

The gas supply coming through the injectors shuts off after about 10 minutes of running, what could cause that?

I've replaced the fuel fitler and tested the fuel pump and they don't appear to be the problem. I check the grounds an they are ok. The pickup starts when gas is poured into the mouth of the carb. this vehicle is fuel injected.

Gary, I sort of had the same problem on a 1987 Pontiac Grand AM with V-6 fuel injection and vehicle would not start but would run if you squirted gas into the throttle body and finally found out it was not the fuel pump like lots of people thought or the filter it was the THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR that is controlled by the on board computer and should have a certain amount of electrical flow to it to function properly and if not it probable malfunctioning and it also sprays gas into the engine for starting , also could be some other things also that are connected to the fuel system like a fuel pump pressure regulator located on firewall of my Pontiac so not sure if all these things are related to your vehicle but kind of sure all fuel injection vehicles are similar in some kind of way so hope this helps you out , also on my Pontiac it located close to the throttle body and has wires attached to it. Hope this fix's it or sheds some light onto it. See spark.
