Spoon Sports 11/28/2011I had my front left sensor replaced once when I had my ex and the front sensor bracket is different than the rear as one side has sort of a raised "lip". If I remember correctly this raised part needs to be on the bottom so the sensor is not pointing down more than facing straight. There is a section in the service manual on the correct alignment of the sensors. It may take a little trial and error to get the adjustment right, but you will get it. If you have a regular non infiniti mechanic, it may be a good idea to grab an electronic version of the service manual. It has come in handy for me several times and you can print specific sections or items related to whateve the issue at hand is. It does get pretty technical and lot of the diagnostics require the Consult III equipment, but there is still plenty of useful stuff not contained in the owners manual for troubleshooting.
Where to buy
