1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 6 Cyl 4.00L

Front Axle failure.. axle replaced..failure of the Transfer case suspected..Question...does the transfer case an\bd the

Rear axle irrevocablty damaged due the Oil lubrication provider failing to replace the plug into the filler hole. All Oil Lost in transit.Axle failed
Law suit pending
Replacement axle installled.
After about 100 milesmof local use ,and then venutuing on to the "freeway' the fronr axle burst into flames.
It is suspected that the Transfer case had suffered a siezure ,and over heating had caused the axle lubricant to burn.
Transmission, impending failure would be sispect.
