2005 Honda Accord EX 4 Cyl 2.4L - Steering & Suspension
What could cause a feeling of no control over the front passenger tire with the steering wheel?
My car has almost 200,000 miles on it. I don't hear any noise, and it only seems to drift about when on a worn street surface. The tension in the steering wheel is stronger while leaning into the driver's side (curving right) on a curve, and less tension in the wheel when leaning towards the passenger tire on a curve (curving left). I also started having a problem with wheel vibration on a large scale when braking going down hill only at high speed. Rotors have been replaced, and it is only in the passenger front tire. Can get a feeling of it about to fall off. Then the drifting sensations started just recently. There is excessive bounce lately, so part of me wants to say struts, but wasn't sure if those other things would play into it. I had my car into a Honda dealer 1000 miles from home, and I feel they were very incompetent, and did some damage to my engine, so I don't trust their judgement, but they told me the struts were fine at the time I had the car "serviced" there.
