1991 Nissan Maxima SE 6 Cyl 3.0L

Hello. I am experiencing sputtering on acceleration. I have had a tuneup and 3 fuel injectors changed but am still

having sputtering on acceleration. I had rough idling but it is not as bad since the tuneup and the 3 fuel injectors replacement but my car still shakes a little when i come to a stop. Do you think i need the other 3 fuel injectors changed too. My car has been serviced by a independent mechanic. Do i need to take it to a Nissan dealership to fix? Thank you. Andrew Foster

Well you don't need to take it to a dealer just a good shop you can trust, ask someone you know if they have a good mechanic. This is a pretty old vehicle, the place you had the tune-up done did they say anything about it still sputtering, if its the same problem you were having before you should have them take a look at it again, unless you left on bad terms. But they should be willing to help find the problem if thats what you brought it to them for in the first place. The shaking when you come to a stop could be caused by a lot of diffeerent things on a vehicle that old, could be a motor mount or an electronic engine control. I would call the guys you had do the work last time and ask them to take a look and see if they can help you figure out whats wrong.
