Only 2 things come to my mind right now.

1. Worn our bushings
2. Busted shock

Generally speaking, it could be a ball joint, tie rod end, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, shock or strut bushings, coil spring seat.

I already replaced my control arm bushing and the noise was still there, now I will be replacing my strutts and shocks and hopefully that will solve it...BTW, would you know if I should have a wheel allignment when I replace my strutts and shocks coz according to the specification data I gathered that there is no need to do a wheel allignment when replacing your strutts and shocks...

I just replaced my shocks with kyb and as I was looking and I saw the rub mark on the outside of the wheelwell where the spring is. Also when I was getting ready to put new shock in I noticed broken spring coil just laying there. So I put new shocks in and rides better but have to replace springs now. Shocks where rusty on the top and one was leaking fluid. I hope that helps.
