First question - is there spark at the spark plugs? Is there sufficient spark at the ignition coil?

What is the measured fuel pressure at the fuel pump outlet, and at the fuel injector rail?

Its a diesel so no spark plugs etc...
It's also direct injection

The fuel pressure at the fuel pump and at the injector rail can be checked using a pressure gauge available for free or a small fee, at any local auto parts stores.

Rather than guess and throw money and parts at the problem - it's advisable to properly diagnose the conditions and issue. You cannot determine the correct flow of fuel by simply loosening the fuel injector supply lines.
