Civic Clutch/Transmission Repair???

Hello! My 2003 Civic SI has been pretty much trouble free for it's 200,000 miles (other than a radiator last year). All of a sudden, while driving home from work I had a difficult time shifting through the gears. By the time I got home, I could barely shift into 1st gear and the car made an awful grinding noise. I assume that my clutch went out, but I was wondering if I had transmission issues as well. Since the car is 18 years old, would it be worth getting repaired? How much would repairs range?
Thank you!!

The new clutch kit, along with the clutch master and slave cylinders are inexpensive compared with the laobor to install / replace the clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing.
Most replacement clutch kits include; the Cover, Clutch Disc, Release (throwout) Bearing, Alignment Tool, and Spline Lubricant

Manual transmission clutch kit = PERFECTION CLUTCH part #MU721371 - or it's equivalent.
Clutch (hydraulics) master and slave cylinders = unit cost is around $29.00 and $25.00 each, respectively.

Unit cost for the clutch kit is less than $130.00 from most on-line auto parts vendors:
