i have spark. I removed the spark plug and tested and then put spark plug back and the went to start it up and it started up no flash d4. so now i ask could it be that the spark plugs need to be changed?

I believe that your cause is a bad main relay which is a common well known pattern failure that affects all kinds of Honda cars. The detail that would confirm this would be the lack of the fuel pump hum when you turn the key to "on" which should cause the fuel pump to turn on and run for two seconds and stop. When the main relay fails to turn on (it is two relays in one, one for the fuel pump and one for the fuel injection components, the one for the fuel pump fails. You will still have spark. That is why I asked you that first. Put your ear to then gas fill pipe and have someone else turn the ignition key to "on" and listen. If no hum then replace the main relay behind the left side of the instrument panel. Here is a reference to help you >> http://techauto.awardspace.com/mainrelaydefine.html

So the next time the car does not start do what I said to diagnose it. If the car started then this advice will help you next time it does not start. It is not the spark plugs so forget that as a cause.
