Car will not start? Battery is perfect
Please Help!!! I have a 2006 Civic LX that will not start. Its an automatic. Battery is fully charged (tested by autozone). Connections are perfect.... I went to get food, came out and car will not start. When I turn the key the starter clicks once and then nothing. The car does not try to turn over at all. there is also a single click coming from the fuse box under the hood (where the positive cable runs to). I tried to jump after being hooked up to another car for 15 minutes. same scenerio. so Ive ruled out the battery and alternator. Any suggestions? Maybe a relay?

Why is the alternator ruled out? What is the alternator voltage and current output? Check the battery terminal and cable connections as first step; should be clean and tight.
Once the car is started; battery jump-start or whatever means - take the car to the local auto parts store for a full charging system check / test - including the alternator output and performance.
