Car died, more than one message light

Driving car today and battery light came on. Then a few mins later the message "service battery charging system". Then a few miles down the road, ABS light came on and "service stabilitrak" message. Last time service stabilitrak came on it had nothing to do with that. By the time I was almost home, all the lights went out and I couldn't give it gas from a stopped position. Then it finally got enough to get me up to speed. I decided to back into my driveway in case I had to have it towed and of course it died in the middle of the road.
Guessing it's not going to be as simple as a dead battery(hence the first message about battery charging system. Does it sound like multiple issues and I just need to have it towed to the dealership?

There are several possibilities; faulty / worn battery, worn drive belt, worn drive belt tensioner, faulty / corroded battery terminals, faulty battery cables, worn / faulty alternator.

You will have to have the battery fully charged in order to have the charging system tested - for free at any local auto parts store. Avoid the dealerships - too expensive.
