Car is "chugging" when trying to excelerate, especially when shifting between 2nd and 3rd gears. fuel pressure code

When trying to speed up, the car begins to chug and loses power. Took car for annual inspection and code reader came up with a fuel pressure code. Guy at garage said he didn't know what was wrong. Car seems to have more pronounced issues when it is humid or rainy...not sure that there is any relationship with the weather or not but thought I would include it

Could be the fuel pump! Good thing to try is to take off the fuel line that goes directly into the engine and start the engine. Make sure the end of the line is into a bucket. If the flow of fuel seems to be strong than your good from the gas tank to the engine. If its a fine flow from there you can than think about other internal components like fuel injectors and such. I imagine its the fuel pump and on the vehicle its easy to replace its under the back seat i believe. The pressure of fuel coming out of the fuel line into the engine should be as hards as pee pressure.....
