Need more information - when are the brakes grinding? When the pedal is applied or without the pedal applied? Is the grinding from the front or rear of the vehicle?

There are several possibilities: brake pad anti-squeal gel is not applied to the back of the new brake pads, there may be dirt, rocks embedded in the brake pad surfaces, there may be uneven wear on the brake rotors.

Or one of the metal heat shields got bent during the repair and is rubbing on the rotor or you unknowingly placed one of the brake pads in reversed and the metal backing is against the rotor.

I agree with HouseCallAuto - the backing plate could be rubbing, or one of the brake pads may be reversed. In any case, the wheels must be removed and the brakes inspected for the issue.
