battery parasitic load of 1.9 amps

Battery is draining and causing a no crank issue. Hooked an amp meter to battery neg cable and found a 1.9 amp draw. started pulling fuses and determined that power is being drawn from fuse with ( cluster, hvac, radio ,ref, data link). It seems the shift indicator/odometer light stays on, will not go out causing the amp draw. How do I fix this? Is it controlled by a body control module or is it controlled by something on the gauge cluster? If I had a schematic maybe I could find path. also it has a 3.1 engine not a 2.2 as shown above.

If the indicator light stays on, then there is a short which must be repaired.

If the indicator light stays on, then there is a short which must be repaired. Typically this is in the gauge cluster, and related wiring or circuit board.
