Transmissions & Drivetrains

My AC compressor has the metal plates (2) that have separated from the end piece (facing the front of the car).

Does this mean I need to replace the compressor and how do I do that? It looks like 4 long bolts but do not know what connections there are to it.
Because of the cost I would be better to do it myself with parts from your place. I know how to put on the belt and found the compressor part.
Thank you

Sounds like the a/c compressor clutch is faulty. The replacement a/c compressor clutch is available separately. Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.RockAuto.com or www.autopartswarehouse.com. To get an idea of the steps involved, try the 'How-To-Guides' for details on how to replace the a/c compressor.
