I have replaced alternator and voltage regulator and battery posts for positive and negative due to they were burnt, what would make a clicking noise when I try to start. Battery shows bright headlights.

my truck cuts out and back fires at high rpm and it was bad enoug to ruin the muffler it also tries to die then suck in alot of air and straiten back out and it also stalls at a stop somtimes or going from r to d

at an idle, rpm's will fluctuate, the engine dies. Will restart with no problems. Feels like a flat spot in the throttle position sensor while driving, but this is not the issue, as I have just replaced it.

The car has 128000 miles and when you engage the air conditioner you can "feel" that the engine RPM increases and decreases slightly repeatedly. You can also just make out the rpm changes on the tachometer. Everything works but is this something I should worry ...
