1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon 8 Cyl 5.70L

94 Roadmaster estate brake lights

My center mount light turns on when compressing the brake pedal, but my lower two do not. Turn signals, hazards, etc still work. There aren't any busted fuses and I have replaced the turn signal switch and still no luck. Any suggestions?

Check the brake light switch - mounted on the brake pedal arm, up under the instrument panel.

Test the switch using a short jumper wire - around the switch - to see if the brake lights work. If yes, then replace the brake light switch.

Try these online resources; www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.rockauto.com, www.partsgeek.com - to list only a few.

In fact, they (RockAuto) list the replacement brake light switch from around $7.00 for your vehicle.

Brake light switch = WVE/AIRTEX/WELLS part #1S5206 - or it's equivalent
