2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 8 Cyl 5.30L

2013 silverado sunroof slider broken, need to replace.

I have a 2013 Silverado 1500 LTZ. One of the plastic sliders that attaches to the sunroof assembly has broken and needs to be replaced. I don't see how I can remove the old sliders and replace with the new ones that picked up. The slide motor works fine and the plastic clip goes forward an backwards in the trough, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the old one out and replace with the new sliders.

You will need to remove the pillar trim to get the headliner down and if you have side impact air bags they will need to be disabled.
Drop the headliner enough to remove the motor and manually turn the gear in the track to close the sunroof. it's quite easily done.
Just remove the trim around the sunroof opening an pull down the headliner. if there still isn't enough access to the motor... remove the 2 trim panels near the windshield and remove the visors and drop the front of the panel to allow more access.
