2010 Dodge Journey Crew 6 Cyl 3.50L

My 2010 Dodge Journey Won't Start

While trying to leave the grocery store, my car wouldn't start up. When I go to the start the car it makes a clicking sounds, and that's all. All the other appliances in the car turn on. This has happened before and waiting 15-30 minutes and trying again usually solves the problem, but I had to luck this time around. Today I was able to get the car back to my house. But when I tried starting again, it wouldn't start. After waiting an hour it was still stuck. The battery isn't the problem. I believe it has something to do with the anti-theft system. I should mention that the Key fob is very sensitive, and even a light touch of the finger will activate the button. It could be that I accidentally hit it too many times and set the system off. I'm not sure. I've tried all the tips I could for resetting the system. And none worked. Any bit of help would
Be appreciated. Thank you

Numerous possibilities; weak / worn battery, worn alternator, worn alternator drive belt, worn drive belt tensioner, corroded battery cables, corroded battery terminals - to list only a few.

Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.
