2008 Ford Explorer Limited 6 Cyl 4.0L

Engine

My 2008 Ford Explorer is shaking badly and it does it constantly. From when you start the truck until you turn it off.

There's about 40,000 miles on it. The harmonic balancer has been replaced as well as the motor mounts, transmission mounts, and numerous parts in the engine. There are no warning lights on.

Misfiring - usually caused by; faulty spark plugs, faulty ignition coils, faulty spark plug cables (if equipped).

All of the above have been replaced recently.

A common problem on explorers is a dirty iac valve(if so equiped) remove and thoroughly clean with carb cleaner and small brush.Spray non-flamable cleaner(with cooled down engine) around vacuum lines and intake gasket to check vacuum leaks.Bad fuel injector o rings, ect sensor, and o2 sensors can also cause this.A cel doesnt always come on when a sensor is bad so no light could still mean a sensors bad
