2006 Ford Ranger - Issues when EGR valve connected

When I have the EGR tube connected the engine dies and has no power. Once I discinnect the tube the engine runs perfect. I replaced the EGR valve, vac sensor for the EGR valve, TPS, O2 sensor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, fuel pump (in tank), MAF sensor and I still have the same issues. Any other ideas??
