P0174 means System too Lean (Bank 2). 0174 code means the PCM has detected an excessive amount of oxygen in the exhaust (lean fuel condition). Bank 2 refers to the side of engine opposite to cylinder number 1.

Possible Causes:

Dirty or defective MAF sensor
Dirty air filter
Vacuum leak
Dirty or defective fuel injectors

Possible Solutions:

Clean or replace MAF sensor
Clean or replace dirty air filter
Replace cracked vacuum hoses
Clean or replace fuel injectors

P0131 means O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor I). P0131 code means the PCM has detected a low voltage signal longer than the specified time. Bank 1 is connected to cylinder 1 and sensor 1 is located before the catalytic converter.

Possible Causes:

Short or high resistance in the O2 sensor circuit or wiring
Defective O2 sensor

Possible solutions:

Repair or replace O2 sensor circuit or wiring
Replace O2 sensor

P0136 means O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2). P0136 indicates the PCM has detected a low voltage signal for an extended period of time. Bank 1 is connected to cylinder 1 and sensor 2 is located after the catalytic converter.

Possible Causes:

Open or high resistance in the O2 sensor reference circuit
Exhaust gas leak near O2 sensor
Defective O2 sensor

Possible Solutions:

Repair or replace O2 sensor circuit wiring
Repair exhaust leak
Replace O2 sensor

Possible Causes:

Dirty or defective MAF sensor
Open or short in MAF sensor wiring circuit
Dirty air filter
Vacuum leak
Defective fuel pump
Clogged fuel filter

Possible Solutions:

Clean or replace MAF sensor
Repair or replace damaged/chaffed wire in the MAF sensor wiring circuit
Replace damaged or cracked vacuum hoses
