2006 Mercedes Benz CLK350 Base 6 Cyl 3.5L

Body & Interior

I have an '06 Mercedes CLK 350. Front passenger side power seat and power window controls do not work.

All other individual controls work (front driver, rear driver and rear passenger sides). Front driver side controls can control all windows EXCEPT for front passenger side. No fuses blown. Do I need an entirely new control module on the front passenger side door? If so, any idea on the cost?
Thanks.

For the seats, this happened to a friend of mine. The fore/aft motor had jammed. His mechanic free'd it up. Took him 10 minutes. Not sure what he did exactly but I know he had to take the seat out. Which is supposed to be quite straight forward I believe. HOWEVER I assume that you have already checked the fuses in the trunk (most common fix/problem). If those are all good, then it's time for a motor replacement...$100 from dealer...remove seat...easy install.

For the windows, could be just a switch problem, remove interior door panel to find out more. You will end up doing it anyway click the link and scroll down

Thanks Spoon Sports! But, it is strange that the window and seat are two independent / isolated issues? Could it possibly be the control unit module on the passenger door? The module on the door panel controls both the window and seat. Both the seat and window stopped working at the same time. Also, in the past, they would not work for a few days, but then all of a sudden start working again. Both would always stop working at the same time - but then restart working at the same time.

Well, im online so i cant confirm, if that was indeed the case, cant you go to a shop and text if a new module will fix everything?
