Locate the wiper motor in the engine compartment on the firewall.

Check the wiper motor fuse located in the main fuse box. The owner's manual will give a diagram of the fuses and location as well.

Gain access to the wiper motor assembly.

Turn the ignition switch on. Turn the windshield wiper switch to the on position.

With the test light, check for power and ground at the motor.

Turn the ignition switch off. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Disconnect the wiper arm assembly from the motor.

Disconnect the wiring harness at the motor.

Remove the wiper motor mounting bolts and remove the motor.

Replace the old motor with the new unit.

Install the mounting bolts and torque to manufacturer's specifications.

Connect the electrical harness.

Connect the wiper arm assembly to the motor.

Connect the negative battery cable.

Test the wiper motor operation at all speeds and verify the repair.
