Crooks- Absolute Crooks These folks will lie to your face, rob you blind and treat you like crap while doing it. Son wrecked my car in early February and I only had liability insurance so had to pay out of pocket for the repairs. The receptionist and technician that I dealt with were rude; rushed and condescending, talking down to me from the first phone call- before I even had the car towed there (should have taken it someplace else right then). Since corporate policy is to pay half the cost up front, I had to wait 2 weeks to liquidate an investment and then for the check to clear the bank before they would start the work. When I finally had the money, the receptionist and technician both refused on several instances to run my credit card - insisting I had to bring the cash up before they would order parts. "That's not my fault, that's not my problem" are common catch phrases for these folks. Since they refused to release my car to another repair shop without charging me a $515 storage fee, I really had no choice but to pay them and let them do the work. They estimated 2 weeks but it took 16 days for them to do the work. After several un-returned phone calls, they finally called and said the car was ready but the original estimate was no longer valid (after the work was done, mind you) since they had to order incidentals that weren't included in original estimate. Not one phone call was made to get me to authorize these charges. In addition, the gas tank was on E when I picked it up (car was brought to them on a little less than a full tank of gas) and my trip odometer registered less miles to a full tank than it ever has in the 7 years I've owned it. Not sure what they did but clearly they put more miles on it than a test drive would call for and/or syphoned gas. Took the car home only to realize they hadn't hooked the windshield washer reservoir back up. Took the car back, where they proceeded to tell me the reservoir had a hole in it and needed to be replaced at a cost of $146 since it wasn't included in original estimate. I refused to pay them another penny, had my brother come up to the shop right then and there and look at it himself. It took him less than 10 minutes to push the plug into the seal on the reservoir and hook the hose back up. Problem solved. On the spot, no cost, no parts needed - just a wrench. Makes me think I maybe didn't need that new radiator either. And the icing on the cake? The inside of my car smells like urine now. Nice. Really classy folks up at USA Collision Center. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your auto body needs. Anyplace would be better.
