I truly am sorry for the post that I have made on this website and if I could take it down, I would. Unfortunately, the website does not allow me to. Upon further speaking to Tony and his son and working with them on this issue, I have come to see that they are not bad guys. They have built a fantastic shop which despite these negative reviews, has worked above and beyond. They have proven themselves to me as a fantastic shop that is worth taking your car to. After struggling with this matter for awhile, they have proven themselves to be trustworthy, reliable, and hard working individuals. I can not express my sorrow any deeper over the previous negative review that I gave. Now that I have met them in person and seen how truly goodhearted they are, I am proud to say that I had my car in their shop.

Don't go to these guys and do not listen to these messages planted by people who work there. It is clear to anyone that has one conversation with Tony Sr. or Tony Jr. that they are unscrupulous bastards who will do anything to suck the money right out of your pocket. They are absolute jerks and have given me the worst service I've ever received in my life. I'm in the process of contacting my lawyer to get my car away from these utter bastards.

I work for an insurance company and the first and hopefully last time I had the honor of dealing with them, the owner, or son, I didnt ask, named Tony reported an accident for a policyholder and initially gave attitude about me requesting to speak to the policyholder who was AT the shop (Dont ask me how a body shop owner who the policyholder stated he never knew/met before knew the "fine" details of someones accidet. Even if the PH told the accident to him, its clearly understandable why Id rather speak to the person in the accident, not the body shop.). When I made it clear I needed to speak to the customer he finally let me speak to him. At this point I let the PH know about our Auto Repair Express program and the second the ph mentioned ARX, the shop owner (Tony) took the phone from him and immediately started to try to be intimidating or something of the sort. He begins throwing NY state steering laws about how a customer has the right to use any body shop of their choice, which I did advise the customer before mentioning anything. Guess what Tony, theres no law stating I cant provide alternative options and theres no law stating that a customers insurance company cant do what their being paid to do - providing claims, service and support. Sounds to me like Tony here just wanted to nab up a unfortunate unsuspecting customer who was just in their first accident at the age of 69. Good job Tony, your a class act guy.

All of these Comment's about T&D Towing Corp. are a crock of B.S. Both Tony Sr. and Tony Jr. are honest, loyal, helpful, kind, and Hard-Working Father and Son Owner's. I work for these guy's and I don't see why people on this page are saying anything Negative about this Shop. Obviously the people writing Negative Reviews are just Jealous or have something against Either Tony Sr. Or Jr. which is both childish and un-called for. If you want your Car Repaired the Correct Way and Want your vehicle repaired back to Showroom condition, I'd 110% recommend bringing your car here for Repair. T&D repair your vehicle the Correct Way not like other shops where corner's are cut. And the comment about Bullet Holes that is the stupidest thing I have read thus far I'd like that person to come and show me where the So Called Bullet holes are so I can circle them with my Sharpie Marker!!!!!!! If you are looking for a shop that can do it all from Towing, Estimates of Vehicle Damage, Minor or Major Repairs Stop in and I will personally Guarantee you will be treated with the Up most Respect, and upon completion of your repair you will have nothing but Positive/ Great Comment's to say about this shop and have your car returned back to Immaculate Condition!!!!

TONY AND THIS SHOP ARE TERRIBLE. HE THINKS HE IS MR KNOW IT ALL. AND NO I AM NOT A " ESTRANGED FAMILY MEMBER" THEY DO TERRIBLE WORK...... AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

By Owner on Fri 21 October 2011

The above two comments are out-right lies and utter slander by an estranged family member that owns a competitive shop in the area. We have records to prove that we have never done work for the above named individuals. Our estranged family member should use his time, which is apparently ample considering the number of slandering reviews they have posted on this site and others, and concentrate on his own failing business. We are a well established business that is licensed by the Nassau County Police Department as their impound facility and we have been licensed to work for the Nassau County Police since 1972. The Nassau County Police conduct extensive background checks and would not allow a business which is described above to be licensed. Unfortunately, in today's internet based society, slandering reviews have become a cost of doing business.

This is the place to go if your looking for horrible service, poor quality and like to be treated like a peice of sh!t. This has got to be the WORST shop on Long Island, if not in the complete US. I have never met two individuals as rotten as the A-hole father and son team that run this place. When I showed up to check on my car (that was already a month overdue getting delivered to me) I walked in on the son cusring at an elderly woman who was trying to get her car. Another time I was there the Glen Cove ploice were there settling a dispute. According to the officer this is a regular event. He also pointed out bullet holes in the bulding where someone had shot at it!! Too bad they missed.

Where do I start? I was involved in an accident and picked these guys off the tow list. Ask for my car to be towed to my regular bodyshop they took it to theirs instead. They refused to let me take the car without a storage charge and assured me they would "take care of me" fixing the car. Fast forward 4 months, my car is still there and disassembled so I couldn't take it. Every time I called or stopped by to check on it I was treated with complete disrespect by both Tony Sr and his son Tony Jr. 2 times when I went by the glen cove police were there on behalf of other unsatisfied customers. By the time my vehicle was finished, it was delivered to me filthy, the price was more than I was quoted and again I was treated like a peice of cr*p. It's no wonder they have baseball bats behind their desk. Upon asking so local people about them, it became apparent that they have a terrible reputaion among the local community and all of there work is brought in by their tow trucks. Don't get suckered in like I did. If you have an accident, call a reputiable tow company, not anyone off the "list". I've since had my car fixed correctly by my bodyshop and all is good now but only after I paid double and was out of a car for five months. Oh, and if you want some re-aasurance of just how bad these guys are, just ask anyone from the Glen Cove police Dept. The cops told me they are there on a regular basis.

Very satisfied with this shop! The owner (Tony) is a straightforward guy, and kept me informed about the progress of the repairs. The work was done in a timely manner. The quality of the work was impeccable. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the Glen Cove/Roslyn area. Mention my name! Glenn
