Repair/Service: battery and alternator installation
Hourly Rate: $50.00
Total Cost: $50.00
On the second day of seeing my battery light on I went to quality and just made it on to the lot before it died. I was told I needed an alternator and any installed battery would be destroyed without it. I had the alternator and battery installed and now I am hearing a new sound in my car. It is sqawlking like water coming through a previously closed pipe or sounds like a belt is labored. I took it back and they said it was the fuel pump which sounds like that sometimes even when newly installed. Funny, I had never heard my "fuel pump" before and I'm sure my car has been pumping fuel. I am still very concerned about it. it seems I traded one problem for another,. They did not even try to solve my problem and just kept repeating the same thing about the fuel pump until I finally just left after taking it there twice. Besides that the intake lady is rude and unprofessional. I've heard stories about them since that I wish I had heard before my visit. That is why I am sharing my experience.
