Repair/Service: no start problem
Hourly Rate: $70
Total Cost: $557
I was in grocery store parking lot trying to load groceries and kids into my tahoe (did I mention it was raining). I jumped in ready to go and my truck would not start? I called Glenn at ProTune (I think he is one of the owners) He had the vehicle towed over and diagnosed in no time. I needed a fuel pump. He explained what we were replacing and showed me my old parts when I checked out. I probably could have got it a little cheaper having a friend do it but, I know if something happens Glenn and Ariel will fix it. Great and quick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Repair/Service: U-Joints, fuel system work, Check Engine light troubleshooting
Hourly Rate: $65
Total Cost: $450
Going to a new shop is always a process one tends to dread but based on some of the reviews I was able to find and feedback from some co-workers, I opted to take my "new" used truck to ProTune to have several issues addressed. The first was an odd noise that the mechanics immediately diagnosed as a U-Joint problem without even needing to look under the truck . . . moved a few feet and it was ready to be fixed. Then there was a Check Engine light that could have been a number of things according to the information one could find on the Internet . . . . well, the guys at ProTune diagnosed the problem - actually three seperate issues - and none were the obvious ones that the material on the web had said to look into. The truck runs like new and the staff at ProTune did exactly what they said they would at a cost that was less than expected. I've found my shop to take care of both of my vehicles in the Seneca area . . . .
