I took my Escalade in to PDQ on 09/29/12 for an oil change. My car has over $200,000 miles so when the tech asked me if I wanted a high mileage oil change, I said yes. Then, the tech came back to me and asked if I wanted to change the filter. He said the one on the car was dirty. Since my husband and I had previously talked about this, I told the tech to go ahead and change it. When they were done with the oil change, he told me to press my accelerator three times to reset the oil life feature. Then he said, "Now crank your car." When I turned the key, the car would not crank. The tech said, "Ma'am, it's time for a new battery." I said, that is strange because my car has been cranking just fine. I told him that I wasn't going to purchase a battery and that I would have my husband check it out. Then he quickly said, "Oh, we will get you running." He did something under the hood, and then my car cranked just fine. I took it to Auto Zone, where I bought the battery. The nice guy at Auto Zone (Darius) checked it and said that it was just fine and 100% charged. He showed the results to me on their equipment. PDQ did not show me anything. In fact, we are convinced that PDQ unhooked a cable, or something to keep me from cranking. My car clock had to be reset. We have been getting oil changes from them for a while. Needless to say, we will NEVER return to this place for service and don't recommend that you do go there either. PDQ sucks!!!!
The car was overheating dropped it off for repair they said needed by-pass hose and o-ring. it took a full day for that so brought it in the next day and they had the car for hours when i called they said the had to order parts this was now on Thursday they said part would be in Monday and should take about 2.5 hours five hours later the car is finally ready and i drove 7 miles home and it is still overheating so i drove it back and they now say it is the fan running at 80% and they can fix that for another fee. So i asked the manager with 2 weeks of employment there to speak to the owner . He said that he was not in. So as I am leaving I see the owner and try to speak to him. (Yes upset at this point and using language I shouldn't) and He proceeds to tell me that they fixed the hose leak that I asked them to. I know nothing about cars and still have no idea if anything was leaking but did know to check water reservoir and never was low. At the end of this I have a car overheating and am out 236.31 Would never recommend them again and have been getting oil changes there for over a year on two different cars. Labor cost was 190.00 Parts were 43.28
