Sooo my car wouldnt start, I have a 2002 nissan, and I had the hardest time trying to find a place that would help me esp since I was trying to find someone at around 730 at night. When I called the office to see if they would help me, I spoke to Mr. O'Gorman who informed me that the service department was closed but i could have the car towed and he would make sure the car was seen first thing in the morning. Before i gave him an answer he had me try different things, IE maybe my alarm interfered with the car somehow. But he was very helpful! i called back around 11 the next morning to see what the status was on my car and he informed me that it was done. WHAT A SURPRISE. He kept his word and I really appreciated it. Andy in the service department told me that it was something involving my crankshaft. I knew nothing about what he was talking about so i took his word and my car was running better than ever!!
I just went in for a typical tire rotation. The place itself was very put together. They greeted me as soon as I walked up to the door so the wait time was fairly short!! Which is a surprise.... Even though the waiting area for the service department was in the same room as the Sales department, It was still comfy. Couldve used a drink area but it was an alright spot! I would go back on account that its hard to find good service no and days esp when your working outside in the heat!
I actually heard about O'gormans from my brother who comes here all the time fo his Oil Changes and things like that. I have been having problems for almost a month now with my air conditioner, now its been really hot and very frustrating to go from garage to garage to find someone to fix my car. I had been to 3 different dealerships to see about my car and paid at least $30 each time just for a diagnosis of the car. When it came down to fix it, they were trying to charge me an arm and leg to fix my car! Money that I didnt have esp since im unemployed at this time. My brother told me to come to O'gorman Motors, now i admit, i walked in with an attitude because I wasw frustrated and i wasnt in the mood to hear them or have them charge me alot. It was quite the opposite, despite my attitide they were still friendly, in the main office and even in the garage. When I explained to Andy what I been through and what was going on, he took my car immediately and didnt charge anywhere near the price of the other garages! I walked out of there only paying $120! I was very pleased with this place !
I did get lost coming here. So I called to see if someone could help me and whoever answered the phone was very helpful and understanding. She actually stayed on the phone with me until I pulled up to the building which was really nice of her. Now i know nothing about cars, my husband actually told me that it was time for me to get an oil change and i needed my tire fixed. So I went inside and they were really friendly. The wait time was not long at all and they took me as soon as I pulled up! The reason why i dropped a star was only because I recommend they have coffee or water for their customers that have to wait. and they need a more spacious waiting area, when i arrived there were no more chairs left and I just walked around outside. But other than that, I would recommend this place. They were friendly, helpful and very attentive. Good Job Guys!
This place is terrible. Do not go here. I bought my own parts in. My caytalic converter went bad sounded like marbles were inside, car was losing power, and I think they just charged me and put on a new inspection sticker without running an emission test. Two months after I had the converter replace it went bad again sounded as if marbles were inside again, they also did a tune up. They were well aware of the problems I was having. I totally lost 600.00. for nothing now I dont have a car to drive it sits in the driveway. The fact of the matter was I was unemployed when I had the work done and I still am. So I cant afford to spend more money to fix the car. I could have taken it to the dealer if I knew they were going to be so incompetent. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. They did not even replace the Oxygen sensor or check any other sensor beside changing the spark plugs. Any mechanic with common sense wold have suggested changing it and running an emission test since I have a DMV inspection done there. I wish I could find who to report them to.
