Saw CBS Early Show's segment on auto mechanics, etc. & got the AutoMD website from there. Decided to check it out after getting several suggestions of what could be wrong w/my car. AutoMD came up with 3 possibilities, including the one most suggested...loose/worn tie rod end. Checked out the "verified" shops listed for my area and found one that could take my car in w/o keeping it overnight. Went to NTB in the morning, they gave a free full review & estimate of what repairs were needed. Unfortunately, I could not afford the complete repair & after discussing with the mechanic/salesperson the crucial, immediate needs, the best deal possible was confirmed. On top of that, I had braced myself for a long wait, but was out in just a little over 2 hours (this including the initial inspection). Before I left, I was advised again about the other work that was still needed and to expect in the mean time, but not to wait too long. It will probably 30 days before I can get the other repairs done but I am planning to have NTB do that one also. All in all I was well pleased with everything at this NTB, from the friendly treatment, explanations (not talking over my head) & doing the work as required. My car is handling much better. I would recommend this shop (and this website) to my friends/family.
