Repair/Service: Brakes

I asked the mechanic at mymechanic automotive to check and see why the fan did not work properly. Sometimes when you cranked the car the fan would not run and as you drove down the road it would suddenly come on. Suspected a loose wire. The mechanic came back and told me that there was no freon in the AC. This is strange because whenever the fan came on the AC worked just fine. Apparently the mechanic had drained the freon out of the system. Whether he did this by mistake or to make more money on the freon I do not know.

The other problem is the big sign out on the side of the highway that says free brake inspection. They actually charge $25.00 to check the brakes but they knock this charge off if you let them repair the brakes. This sign advertising a free brake inspection is an obvious lie. This seems to be one of the most dishonest mechanics I have ever allowed to work on my car. They don't do any work for me anymore.
