Repair/Service: Replaced 1 Rim, Hubcap, & 2 new tires

I recently took my vehicle to Monro to have my tire fixed. ( I hit a curb) I needed a new rim & 2 new tires. I was given an estimate of $497.00. $180 for the Rim, $170 for 2 tires, $70 for the tire hubcap, & $72 for the alignment plus tax. Thinking the cost of the of the rim & hubcap were too high I called up my dealer ( Jack Maxton). I was told I could get a hubcap for $36 & a new rim for $92. So I went and picked them up the same day. Saved $122 just in parts.

They also told me I need more work that would cost 423.69 to fix this issue. Knowing that they overcharge for parts I took it to the dealer & it cost me $160.36 for the same work.

Other than that they are a wonderful company. Once I delivered the parts( the same day) the car was finished by the end of the day. I don't think I will go back to them due to their inability to get reasonably priced parts ( I don't think they are scamming people) , but the people there were friendly. My new tires are great! My advice if you go to them is buy your own parts! lol
