I pulled into Miner's with a problem with my automatic transmission. In 5 minutes Clint diagnosed the problem. Then made an adjustment and sent me on my way. When I asked him what I owed he said, "Just give me a good review on the internet". You got it, Clint. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I have to agree with all of the previous great reviews about Miner's and Rick; including the thank you cards on the wall at his shop. We were passing through Utah heading up the canyon when our van suddenly died. It was not getting enough fuel or air and we didn't know why. Fortunately, we were able to get the van back down the canyon and found Ricks shop online just like you probably did here. it seems like the problem was a bad fuel pump but Rick took the time to really investigate the problem instead of just switching parts like so many people only know how to do these days. In our case it turned out to be a crack in the fuel filter. His crew replaced the filter and even took it on a test drive back up the canyon to make sure it ran right. They sent us on our way with a very small bill for the part and the time involved. While we were waiting he even recommend the place down the street were we could have lunch while they worked. Had the situation been more dire, I still know Rick would have done his best to get us back on the road as soon as possible for the least expense and would have done the research to find the actual problem. If you can nurse your car to Cedar City, Utah, then do it and go find Rick at Miner's. He even called us the next morning to make sure we had made it to our destination safely.
We came to the Cedar City, UT area to visit the national parks and monuments in the area. Our car was developing a clanking noise when leaving stop signs and a fairly severe vibration while driving down the road. After researching the auto repair shops in the area, we elected to try Miner's Auto Repair because of several positive reviews by other customers. The owner Rick and his crew got us in the morning after calling them and had us repaired at a reasonable cost and out again the same day. Turns out we had 4 bad u-joints and a worn front CV joint. My wife and I are very satisfied with the service we received and so far the repairs are fine.
I Called several shops for a price for front struts for my jeep and Miner's saved me about $150.00. They got the job done quickley and were very professional. I definately wiil do business again.
After spending over $400 at another auto shop and my car still not running good, I decided to take my car to Miners Auto. These guys did a quick diagnoses and discovered that the repairs I paid another shop to do were useless. Miners auto walked me through a few issues with my vehicle which allowed me make a cost effective decision and got my car up and running.
they are very unprofessional to customers and call their vehicle pile of shit
